ADR Summer Research Prize Student
Charlie Darcy
Charlie recently completed a bachelor of Zoology and Animal Science. He has an avid interest in marine fish, their ecology in response to anthropogenic factors, and using minimally invasive techniques to effectively study ecology. Charlie intends to undertake an Honours degree exploring coral reef fish assemblages and their response to human activity, using baited remote underwater video systems.
Charlie has been awarded an ADR Summer Project Prize and is exploring methods of BRUVS fish analyses. After presenting his work at AMSA 2025, he has now started an Honours looking at the impacts of climate change on beetles.
